An individual distinction that makes the entire team proud.

Celebrating the well-being and growth of our employees is part of Catari’s identity and values. On the past 25th of May, our colleague Eduarda Silva was publicly recognized with the distinction of Best Internship of 2023 by the College of Civil Engineering of the Order of Engineers of the Central Region, during the official session of the XXIV Regional Engineer Meeting, which took place in Fundão (Portugal).

Since joining our engineering team in November 2019, Eduarda aimed to join the Order of Engineers and completed an internship at Catari with the theme “Design and Calculation of Temporary Structures – Scaffolding, Formwork, and Shoring.” This internship not only facilitated her effective admission to the Order but also earned her public distinction.

Eduarda highlights the importance of the support she received from the Catari team and the company in achieving this goal:

"When I started at Catari I didn't yet have the opportunity to complete the internship required to join the Order. Encouraged by the company, I utilized the knowledge gained to complete the internship."

The work developed reflects the technical capability and specialized knowledge of the Catari Project team. The experience gained allowed the development of a detailed internship report on the design and calculation of temporary structures, with real application in Catari’s scaffolding projects.

"Catari was fundamental in this process as it allowed me to perform engineering functions, an area in which I have academic training, at a time in my life when I thought it was no longer possible. I am very grateful for the opportunity to be part of this great team.”

Beyond the individual distinction, which we congratulate, it is immensely satisfying to see the skills and expertise of our employees recognized externally.

"This distinction reflects not only my work and dedication but also the support and teachings of the entire Catari team, especially the Project department." Eduarda Silva
