Catari FA-48® Frame Scaffold System
Catari FA-48® is a frame scaffold with slide-in fittings that grant a fast, simple and effective assembly.
The range of accessories ensures an easy adaptation to every façade configuration and even further scaffolding applications.
Featured Components
Frames
0,73m width
Guardrails
From 0,73m up to 3,07m
Decks
Steel decks and access decks
Safety comes easy using catari FA-48® frames
While the gravity pins of the frames ensure that guardrails and diagonals are fastened with a single push, the built-in spigots grant their correct setting in the upright. Once stacked, the upper frames automatically prevent the decks against accidental lifting or tilting.
Quick assembly
To increase the length of the scaffold, add new frames and connect them with guardrails; to increase the height, stack additional frames on the top of the existing ones; diagonal braces and decks will grant the rigidity of the scaffold, waiving the use of ledgers.
Further exploring
The use of special frames, console brackets, adjustable guardrails and toe bards, castor wheels, lattice beams, slim and corner decks, enhance scaffolding on complex façades, such as circular line-ups, corniches, balconies, porches, building corners or protruding façades.
Stair towers can be assembled for an ampler access, using the standard components and pre-assembled stairways elements.
For all type of façade works
Catari FA-48® is designed to have a self-explanatory and efficient workflow, where the main components fit without the need of a hammer or other special tools.
Façade scaffold
Either in a residential context, single or multi-family houses, or even in a commercial or industrial context, Catari FA-48® is an option for bricklaying, masonry, plastering, painting or cladding works.
It is a certified steel scaffolding that offers its users simplified safety, easy handling and unbeatable speed of assembly.
Download catalogueExpanded work areas
The use of console brackets and lattice beams allows the extension of the working area beyond the standard line-up.
Download catalogueCorners
Connection and angular decks ensure a safe corridor on corners as well as the possibility of assembling circular scaffold. Telescopic toeboards and guardrails adapt to the available size between frames, thus ensuring a safe perimeter.
Download catalogueStairways
When a wider access is required on-site, a stairway can be quickly integrated into an existing scaffold or set-up as a stand-alone access structure.
Download catalogueSafety during assembly
Advanced guardrails or temporary guardrails can be used to carry on the assembly from the level beneath, as a complementary protection for scaffolders.
Download catalogueSpecial frames
Assembly frames, with either reduced height or width, are useful for overcoming constraints such as slopes or balconies, without changing the line-up of the scaffold.
Download catalogueCastor wheels
Mobile scaffold can be an option for sequential works. The twin breaks assure the safety of the structure while parked.
Download catalogueWalkways for pedestrians
Sidewalks frames and debris retainers create a safe passage for pedestrians.
Download catalogueCatari US® compatible
Catari US® and FA-48® core components gave a matching grid-size, which benefits scaffolding on complex structures.
Download catalogueAnchoring options
Against load-resistant walls, lattice ties can be used to suspend the scaffold, rather than support it on the ground. In reverse, adjustable stabilisers are an option against windows or glass walls.
Download catalogueScaffold project design
Erecting a scaffold in multi-storey buildings or even in single-family houses can be challenging due to the on-site constraints. To overcome these limitations, the engineering team of Catari develops tailor-made solutions using 3D modelling and scaffold structural analysis software, which lead to a detailed identification of commissioning quantities and an improved visualization of the final solution.
